# The Course View > The Course View is an independent directory of thousands of golf courses for GSPro golf simulation software. It provides searchable, filterable course listings with details on location, designer, course type, difficulty, and access tier. It is not affiliated with GSPro or any course designer. The Course View covers the full catalog of GSPro simulator golf courses -- from designer-created courses inspired by real-world championship venues (under alternate names) to original fantasy layouts. Courses are tagged by style (Links, Parkland, Mountain, Heathland, Desert, Coastal, Tropical) and special attributes (Championship, Historic, Beginner, Fantasy). Access tiers include Free, Patreon (Tier 1/2/3), and Beta. ## Key Pages - [Home -- Course Directory](https://thecourseview.com/): Search and filter thousands of GSPro courses - [FAQ](https://thecourseview.com/faq): What is GSPro, what launch monitors work with it, what is a Lidar course, free vs Patreon courses - [Best Of -- Curated Course Lists](https://thecourseview.com/lists): curated lists (best championship, links, parkland, historic, fantasy, par 3, and a four-tier difficulty ladder -- beginner, intermediate, challenging, expert) - [Best GSPro Courses Guide](https://thecourseview.com/guides/best-gspro-courses): Editorial picks of the best GSPro courses across every style - [Control GSPro From Your Phone](https://thecourseview.com/guides/control-gspro-from-your-phone): How to use any phone or tablet as a GSPro remote while you play, with no app to install on the phone - [GSPro Course Difficulty Guide](https://thecourseview.com/guides/gspro-course-difficulty): The easiest and hardest GSPro courses. This is first-party data across the whole ~2,900-course catalog -- unique to The Course View -- and it powers a four-tier difficulty ladder: beginner (under 4), intermediate (4 to 6), challenging (6 to 8), and expert (8 and up) - Beta courses are works-in-progress on GSPro's beta course server. They are free to play, but require a one-time beta-server-access request via the official GSPro site (gsprogolf.com/request-beta-server-access.html) -- this is separate from any Patreon subscription. The Course View hides beta courses from default browsing and lists them at /beta with instructions - Course data is sourced from PakGolf Studios and Simulator Golf Tour (SGT)
