Collison Par 3

It all started in 1962, when Dr. David Collison decided to build a farm pond at his 40-acre homestead. Having a life-long interest in golf, Dr. Collison asked if there was enough excess dirt to build a golf green. There was enough, in fact, there was enough for four golf greens which inevitably turned into a four-hole pitch and putt layout. By 1972, he had created a beautiful 18- stands as one of the only 18 hole par 3 golf courses in lowa. The course is still in the family and being run by is son, Mark Collison.
