The Fort, which is on land that was once part of the historic Fort Hays military outpost, offers a unique mix of characteristics that are common with both a links-style golf course and a Golfers must not only account for the prevailing southwest winds, deceiving elevation changes and fast greens, they must also navigate a variety of water hazards.
