These elevation changes, some reaching more than 100 feet, are the key component of a layout with virtually no level lies. In a subtle way, Morningstar features "target golf." Shots must be played to landing in areas flanked by strategically placed bunkers, mounds, depressions and prairie grass plantings add to the natural setting, and water comes into play on six holes.
