Worlington, Suffolk, UK
Founded in 1893, Worlington is a 9-hole Private Member's Club. Indeed, in 2020 it was voted the best 9-hole golf club in the world by Golf Magazine. Home to the Cambridge University Golf Society, It has an inland links feel and is a joy to play all year round. The nine holes at Worlington were recognised for their quality right from the start. An early report in 1895 noted that none of the holes afford tame golf, and several of them are of a very sporting character and that the greens are simply magnificent and would compare favourably with those of many seaside links.
