Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Bald Mountain

Nestled in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains along the shores of Lake Lure, Bald Mountain Golf Course at Rumbling Bald offers one of North Carolina's most memorable mountain golf experiences. The championship layout winds through towering hardwoods, dramatic elevation changes, sparkling lakes, and stunning views of the iconic Bald Mountain. Beyond its scenic beauty, Bald Mountain has earned a place in Hollywood history. The course's famous 16th green served as the filming location for the golf scene in the classic 1987 movie Dirty Dancing, where Baby asks her father for money.
