The course is made up of two loops of nine holes enabling golfers to start on either the 1st or 10th holes. Waltham Windmill Golf Club is mainly lined with trees, there is also the added interest from nine ponds which come into play on nine of the holes. These hazards provide a challenge not only from the tee but also around some of the greens. The course features a comprehensive irrigation system of the USGA greens gives excellent drainage ensuring all year-round play.
