Golf Simulator Black Friday 2026: What's Worth Waiting For
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. This page covers what's worth timing to the sales and what isn't, for people building a bay and people who already have one. The links go to live sale pages, so you see today's prices, not the ones I saw when I wrote this.

The short version
Time the big purchases. Ten percent off a $5,000 package is $500, while the same cut on a $200 net is $20. If you're building from scratch, packages and enclosures are where waiting pays most.
Launch monitors take more care. Last November's sale roundups listed discounts on the Garmin R10 and R50, among others. Not every model moves, though, and some retailers sell their deals as bundles, so add up what's in the box before you call it cheaper.
If you already have a bay, spend the sale on the weakest part of it. For a lot of players that's the mat.
Where the sales show up
- PlayBetter: a Black Friday and Cyber Monday collection of everything currently marked down.
- Indoor Golf Outlet: enclosures, packages, and launch monitors. The code COURSEVIEW5 takes 5% off at checkout.
- Amazon: mats, nets, projectors, and other accessories. The Amazon links below go to searches, so they show whatever is marked down when you click.

Four I'd watch, cheapest first. The price on each card is the list price. The sale price is on the retailer's page, and I can't know that in advance.

~$500
Radar · No GSPro subscription · Deep room (16 ft+)
The cheapest real way into GSPro, with no subscription. It showed up in last year's roundups.

$699
Radar + camera · Premium plan, $199.99/yr (first year included) · Deep room (16 ft+)
A membership starts after the first year, so price it over five years instead of at checkout.

$1,299
Radar · No GSPro subscription · Deep room (16 ft+)
No GSPro subscription and accurate radar, but radar needs 16 feet or more of room depth. Measure first.

Enclosures and packages
A package puts the enclosure, screen, mat, projector, and monitor in one order. The two I link are PlayBetter's SimStudio packages and Indoor Golf Outlet's enclosure packages. For the enclosure alone, Indoor Golf Outlet has a collection too.
Add up the parts before you pay for the convenience. A package built around a different monitor than the one you want isn't a deal.
If you already have a bay
You don't need a new monitor to get something out of a sale. I'd upgrade in this order.
- Hitting mat (Amazon): the upgrade people say they should have made sooner. A better one is easier on your wrists.
- Net (Amazon) or impact screen (Amazon): a good net stops a hard drive, and a cheap one eventually lets one through.
- Short-throw projector (Amazon): it fills the screen from a few feet back, so your body isn't in the beam at address.
If new prices still miss your budget, the launch monitor buyer's guide has a section on buying used, including the subscriptions that don't transfer.
Gifts for someone who already has a sim
Ask what they'd upgrade. If you can't ask, these tiers work.
- Under $50: rubber tees for the mat (Amazon), or a dozen Callaway RPT balls (Amazon) if they own an MLM2PRO.
- $150 to $300: a practice net (Amazon) or a basic mat (Amazon).
- $300 to $500: a mid-tier mat (Amazon).
For a last-minute gift, Course Control is a $30 phone remote for GSPro. The license key arrives by email, so you can forward it. I make Course Control, so weigh that. There's more in the phone remote guide.
Before you click buy
- Authorized dealer: PlayBetter is an authorized dealer for Garmin, Bushnell, SkyTrak, and Rapsodo, so the factory warranty holds. Marketplace sellers can't always promise that.
- List price: check the maker's site for the list price, so you know what the discount is measured against.
- Subscriptions: GSPro costs $250 a year on top of the hardware, and some monitors add their own membership. The launch monitor buyer's guide has the five-year totals.
- Returns: read the return terms before you pay.
Questions
When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday, November 27. Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Retailers often post sales earlier in November, so check the live pages before the day.
Are launch monitors cheaper on Black Friday?
Some are. Last year's roundups listed the Garmin R10 and R50 among the discounts. Not every model moves, and some deals are bundles, so check the live page for the one you want.
Should I buy a package or the parts?
A package spares you the fitting headaches, since the enclosure matches the screen and the mat suits the bay. The tradeoff is price, so add up the parts and see what the convenience costs.
Does the COURSEVIEW5 code work during a sale?
It takes 5% off at Indoor Golf Outlet's checkout. Whether it combines with a sale price is up to the store, and the cart shows the result before you pay.
