Metro Guide

GSPro Courses in Atlanta

Atlanta golf runs deep in GSPro. East Lake, the home of the TOUR Championship, is here, and so are private in-town clubs and a spread of suburban courses from Alpharetta out to Villa Rica. Here's everything built around the metro, grouped by area.

In-Town Atlanta

East Lake is the headliner: the oldest course in the city and the permanent host of the TOUR Championship every August. Tekbud also built both Cherokee Town layouts, a club you'd otherwise need a member invite to see.

  • East Lake Golf Club (Atlanta), designed by Tekbud
  • Cherokee Town and Country Club North (Atlanta), designed by Tekbud
  • Cherokee Town and Country Club South (Atlanta), designed by Tekbud
  • Druid Hills (Atlanta), designed by wilsnj

North Metro: Alpharetta, Cumming, Sugar Hill, Dacula

The northern suburbs have the deepest bench. Echelon in Alpharetta is a Rees Jones design with real teeth, and Hawks Ridge up in Ball Ground is one of the area's best-regarded private clubs.

  • Echelon Golf Club (Alpharetta), designed by Thegolfboy
  • Windermere Golf Club (Cumming), designed by pakman
  • Hawks Ridge Golf Club (Ball Ground), designed by Thegolfboy
  • Sugar Hill GC (Sugar Hill), designed by Pob16
  • Hamilton Mill Golf Club (Dacula), designed by runpuddrun
  • Reunion Country Club (Hoschton), designed by Golffe

Northwest: Acworth & Cartersville

  • Cobblestone Golf (Acworth), designed by simplyme80
  • Cartersville Country Club (Cartersville), designed by Thegolfboy

West Metro: Douglasville & Villa Rica

Villa Rica alone has two courses, including The Frog, the Tom Fazio design at Georgian Resort that plenty of west-side golfers grew up playing.

  • Chapel Hills (Douglasville), designed by simplyme80
  • The Frog Golf Club (Villa Rica), designed by Clapfosho
  • Fairfield Plantation Golf and Country Club (Villa Rica), designed by JPruitt10

What about Augusta?

Augusta National isn't metro Atlanta, but if you're asking, it's in GSPro too, under the name Georgia Golf Club. Our Masters guide covers where to find it and how to set it up.

Finding these in GSPro

Every course above is free to download: no Patreon subscription required. Search for the course name in the GSPro course browser, or start from its page on The Course View to check the scorecard and yardages first. These are designer-created versions inspired by their real-world namesakes, not official licenses, so expect small differences in layout and conditioning from the actual club.
