How to Request a GSPro Course

Every GSPro course was made by an independent designer who chose to build it. So getting a new one comes down to asking the right people, or paying one of them.

Who builds GSPro courses

GSPro ships the simulator. The courses come from a separate community who build them with the OPCD toolset, a Blender-based pipeline, then distribute through Simulator Golf Tour. For some it's a hobby, for others a business.

Which is why nothing below points back at us. We index what designers release. We don't build or commission courses, so these links go to the people who do.

First, check it isn't already there

Real clubs own their names, so designers rename them. Augusta National sits in the sim as Georgia Golf Club, Pebble Beach as DPC Pebble. Searching the real name and coming up empty doesn't mean the course is missing.

  • Search the directory: it matches the GSPro name and the real one, so either finds it.
  • Famous courses not on GSPro: the venues nobody has built, with the closest substitute for each.
  • Beta courses: a finished course can stay hidden until you request beta server access, which is free.
  • New courses: the directory picks up new builds within days of release.

Ask the community

Most requests get made and answered in chat rather than on a form. The server everyone calls the GSPro Discord is really the one run by Simulator Golf Tour, and it's where the designers sit. Invites rotate and expire, so start from a site that keeps a current one rather than a link someone pasted in a forum years ago.

  • Zeros and Ones GCD: home of the OPCD toolset, with a forum, tutorials, and the Discord where build questions get answered.
  • Simulator Golf Tour: runs the main community Discord alongside the leagues and course distribution.
  • Golf Simulator Forum: the GSPro board, if you'd rather post somewhere searchable than join a chat server.

Asking well helps. Name the course, say where it is, and say whether it's public or private, because that changes who'll take it on.

Pay someone to build it

This is the reliable route, and it costs less than most people guess. Several designers whose work already fills this directory take commissions, usually from someone who wants their own club in their sim.

Every builder starts from the same two things: the course name and address, and LiDAR elevation data for that ground. The LiDAR is what gives the sim version its real contours, and it doesn't exist everywhere, so the first thing a designer checks is whether your course is covered.

Designers with courses in this directory who take commissions:

  • pakman: 167 courses in this directory, with tiered builds and a quote form at PakGolf Studios.
  • runpuddrun: takes custom quotes through Sim Golf Designs.
  • Thegolfboy: has been building for GSPro since he was thirteen, with pricing and a contact form at The Golf Boy Courses.
  • TekBud: posts build work on his YouTube channel, the easiest way to reach him.

Others who take commissions:

  • The LiDAR King: publishes flat prices, currently $187.95 for nine holes, $374.95 for eighteen and $585.95 for twenty-seven, and checks LiDAR coverage before taking any money.
  • CE.Simgolf: Chris Anderson, a 3D artist who takes private work alongside official GSPro projects.
  • Simulator Golf Tour: takes quote requests and hands the build to a designer. SGT contacts the club for approval first, so add that to the timeline.

The club itself is the other thing that stops a build. Some are glad to be in a simulator, some want no part of it, and that answer comes before any modelling starts.

Or build it yourself

The toolset is free. OPCD runs as a Blender add-on and hands off to Unity, and it was written for people who aren't 3D artists. Expect it to take a while. The designers who've done it are the ones answering questions in the Discord.

  • Zeros and Ones GCD: the toolset itself, plus tutorials that run start to finish on a full build.
  • Between Two Biomes: a channel devoted to GSPro course design, good for seeing the workflow before you commit.
  • GSPro creators worth following: several cover design and build process alongside course reviews.

Finish one and it goes out through the same distribution everyone else uses, so it turns up in this directory on the next weekly sync.

Common questions

Can I request that a course be added to GSPro?

Not through GSPro itself. Every course is built by an independent community designer, so a request means asking in the community Discords or paying a designer to build it.

How much does a custom GSPro course cost?

The LiDAR King publishes flat prices at $187.95 for nine holes, $374.95 for eighteen and $585.95 for twenty-seven. Other designers quote per project, and extras like clubhouses and surrounding structures raise the price.

Can I get my own home course built for GSPro?

Yes, this is the most common kind of commission. A designer needs the course name and address, and LiDAR elevation data covering that ground. Coverage does not exist everywhere, so that is the first thing they check.

Check the directory first

Plenty of courses people assume are missing are already there under a different name.
